Manchester United have reportedly made an improved £60m bid for Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo, as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Mbeumo, who has been a standout performer for Brentford in the Championship, has attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe, but it is understood that United are leading the race for his signature.

The French forward is known for his pace, skill, and eye for goal, and would provide United with a much-needed injection of quality in the final third.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add more attacking firepower to his squad, and sees Mbeumo as the perfect fit to complement the likes of Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

If the deal goes through, it would be a club-record fee for United, but Solskjaer is confident that Mbeumo’s arrival would be worth every penny.

Brentford are said to be reluctant to let go of their prized asset, but with Mbeumo eager to test himself at a higher level, a move to Old Trafford could be on the cards.

United are hoping to wrap up the deal before the start of the new season, as they look to hit the ground running and challenge for major honours.

Fans are excited at the prospect of seeing Mbeumo in a United shirt, and are already dreaming of the potential goals he could score at the Theatre of Dreams.

With negotiations ongoing, it remains to be seen whether United can secure Mbeumo’s signature, but one thing is for sure – their pursuit of the talented striker is far from over.
